I personally think it was a nice movie 📢🚨season 2 spoiler alert ⚠️ 📢 On Conrad, as I went further on the series I learned that he was a bit toxic and complicated and hence not someone perfect for belly Belly was already complicated and young and I think she needed someone fun, who could make her happy . Jeremiah loved her way more than Conrad did because Jere was willing to let belly go just for her to be happy but Conrade was selfish and then never even treated her as she deserved. Jeremiah was better for her even though he didn't have much connection with her asleast he was sure about his feelings , made her happy at any cost even if it meant hurting his own feelings and also because he worked a lot harder on their relationship than conrad.
