I felt like this movie didn't know what it wanted to be. The first half people we're dealing with grief, abusive relationships, and alcohol. And to be honest, that really caught my attention and I wanted to see the story unfold as the movie went on. But then, on the second half. It went into an opposite direction, the main character went on this spiritual journey that wasn't explained whatsoever, the director just jumped right into it. Who was the man in the bear suit? What was the evil spirit? Yeah, the drumming scared the spirit away but how? There was a lot left to the imagination, nothing was explained. I'm Native American, there's tons of folklore that's different with each tribe. So I think only the west coast indigenous peoples would understand, but if you're on the outside looking in, you're on your own. 3/5 the movie didn't know what it wanted to be. It was okay

Movie sucks. Trailer hyped it up and used practically all of the scenes in the first 30 minutes of the movie as the trailer. Audio in the movie was off. Some weird voiceover and bad timing made it seem like delayed speech. Bad editing. The noise in the film was a cover up for the bad cinematography. I feel like they spent their entire budget to get Matt Damon to speak for 5 minutes. I don't know why the main character didn't jolt out of the hospital when the entrance was right there! When she was speaking to her mom? Save your time and money. People voting this movie 5/5 think they're a movie critic and think there's underlying meaning to the movie. There isn't.

A very dramatic teenage drama. No real life consequences for the characters. Tessa tries to lead a life and start a career but her very possessive ex pulls her down. The movie idolizes a very toxic relationship, anyone with common sense can see how toxic they are together. A lot of verbal and emotional abuse is done in this film and it's very odd how the director romanticizes it. This isn't a story about love. It's a story of a toxic relationship.
