Wow, I honestly respect her more as a person & it makes me inraged to see these 1-2 star reviews saying "The title is sick and disturbing" or "Only someone very sick can make fun of her own mom dying of cancer. She will regret one-day karma karma karma" or "The ramblings of an ungrateful child", first of all, most people that wrote those reviews probably haven't even read the book or probably aren't even fully educated enough to understand her situation properly; Jennette clearly stated in the book & interviews that she never wanted her mom to die, if anything she loved & adored her mom, she used the title as a symbol saying that when her mom died it made her realize that she had all these mental disorders because of her mom but the main fact is that in the book where there were chapters of Jennette hating her mom, it was because she thought that her mom was doing this just for good personal reputation, but she later found out that she did this because she wanted Jennette to have everything that she didn't have(money wise) & just a better life in general, Jennette's mom didn't see anything wrong with what she was doing to her daughters heath because she herself had mental issues & that in her eyes she was only doing best for her child. I love how this book made me feel at the end of the book because Jennette ended the book on her finally being happy & saying that making this book was her final step to fully healing.
