I don't really understand the many rave reviews for the series. Yes, it provides nuace and depth in a way lacking in other SW media, but there are pacing and continuity issues (e.g., the first episode dragged & was confusing, and what ever became of his search for his missing sister?) It certainly feels like more mature fare for SW fans, but I can't help but wonder whether a lack of adult plots, themes and characterization in other media of the SW brand have left people starved for such content in a way analogous to declaring "Boba's BBQ Bantha" to be 5 star cuisine.
A good show, but if it's the revolutionary, epic masterpiece that so many others claim, I don't see it.
