I wouldn't not recommend this show, it is all consuming, once you start watching it there is no way to stop! I have work I am supposed to be doing but I am completely and utterly captivated. This show is a rollercoaster never a dull moment with the Carringtons! I love this too much, once you are pulled into it there is no way out. It has all of the drama a good soap opera should but its not cheesy and the actors are just amazing. They all do such a good job at portraying the character you can't help but get tangled into the story they are in. Why did I not watch this sooner. I'm in love, especially with Elizabeth Gillies' character, I grew up with her as Jade from Victorious but she total reinvented herself with this role, every movie she's ever been is was just amazing, she was born to play Fallon Carrington. Don't get me started on Fallon as a character, she is a TOTAL girl boss and doesn't let any man or person decide her fate she may have a wicked tongue but you can't help but love that about her. She is depicted a spoiled rich girl but she worked so hard and fought for everything she has, through the show nothing is handed to her, and that is very admirable. They could have just had her as a rich brat that got everything she wanted but she fights for the COO position, her company, and love (multiple times). This show depicts modern day topics like homosexuality, race, and feminism all in the best ways and struggles behind it. This is show is based on a show from the 80's but i'm so glad that they changed it in the ways they did and that there is a diverse cast. I would rate it higher if it was possible. Viewers beware your life will be all about the Carrington's if you start watching!
