Honestly, I enjoyed the characters/cast in this movie and everything like the butler, but the movie doesn't even reflect anything in the book. In the book, Artemis Fowl is seen as this intelligent, mastermind criminal who would do anything for his own benefit, while in the movie, Artemis Fowl was just a kind guy and his personality is completely different from the book. The first book and second are literally combined like the first part where Artemis Fowl was talking to the counselor which happens in the second book. And then in the movie, there was the drawf or something that eat through their house and that happens in the first book. They can't even manage to add the most important part, in my opinion, is when Captain Holly Short buried the acorn and got her power returned.
