In my film class I had a similar idea: shoot a streamer set (less than four cameras, same shots throughout) and seeing this in play and in a car is so much more dynamic. Joe keery did amazing, so much so that I was unsettled that I laughed or rooted for some of the awful 'thrill kill' scenes. And that's the intended effect! I know it's been 2 years, but this movie nailed everything. It was SO IMMERSIVE that I half expected to exit onto my comfort site, YouTube. It was that good!
