Amazing concept. Great, original idea. I liked the complicated things he had to do to escape. It reminded me of the game Hitman. But I understand he's an amazing liar and actor but his luck is absolute. The amount of luck is literally to the point where it's a plot hole. Not to mention the inconsistencies within the movie. No one noticing obvious things like someone screaming for help or getting out of a car. The kidnaped guy also said he was kidnapped trying to help him with a jump and when they show the video he didn't even have a car. This felt a thriller made for teenagers. But still ultimately a good movie other than that.

Not sure why anyone would give this more than 3 stars. It was a drama based on some guy who was caught up in the fight of the Kaijus. You only see them like 3 times in the movie if you can even see with how dark it is. I think of you like dramas it's cool otherwise lame.

I honestly really REALLY love this show. Since netflix took over you can tell the difference. Season 3 lost a lot of its realism when a bunch of kids started getting sent to the hospital and no adults were held accountable. Other than that everything is pretty great. Great characters, decent story, love the underlying theme of letting go of hate and balancing self-defense vs passivity. As well as the clash between culture and mindsets of the time of the original karate kid to now.
