We ordered the Peleton Tread online after months of research. Finally decided to pull the trigger and order the tread for Christmas. There were several delivery dates available we chose Monday Dec 14th. I took that day off work and was so excited to get the equipment.
On Dec 10th 4 days before our scheduled delivery I received an email saying. Sorry it won’t be in then. We have low inventory so “WE” rescheduled your delivery for Dec 30th?!? What? I contacted them saying that I was very upset with the short notice, I took off work as it said it would take 2 hours for set up. Furthermore, the 30th just wasnt going to work for us with our work schedules etc. The response was this-
“ We are very sorry that your order will not be coming on the scheduled date. It is never our intention to upset our members. If you will not be in town to accept your delivery, there is an option to try. You can have a neighbor, friend, or family member accept the delivery on your behalf. They need to be 18 or older. We know that this is not ideal but it's a great way to not miss this delivery date. We can send a free gift for the inconvenience if you are interested. Please let us know if you need additional assistance.
We look forward to celebrating all of your milestones together and thank you for being a part of our Peloton community!
Best,
Liz P.

Condescending, and inappropriate response, That we could ask a family member or neighbor? This has left us so disappointed in this entire ordeal and have been debating posting till now. I feel like this could have been handled way more professionally by offering more notice for rescheduling, a compensation gesture and or at the very least act like you cared about losing a customer on a 5k transaction.
If there is a higher level of management that would like to make this right we are open to someone making us satisfied peleton owners. We will continue to post until someone addresses our terrible experience. If not we will just move forward with a the purchase of another Nordic trac.
