Had the makings of a very good movie and the trailer made it look fantastic...especially with Tom Hanks (my favourite actor) playing a solo role. However, it was as though what could have been a genius idea for a story was ruined by being rushed in a "cram everything in to an averaged length movie" approach. And the story wasn't all that interesting in the first place. Can't help but feel that the idea behind this would have been far better told as a series, rather than a movie.. with much more opportunity to explore Finch's past and a fat better storyline to be developed. The setting and the characters made for what could have been so much more than it was. An okay movie...but just better suited to a series in my opinion.
