I rarely give a book a five star rating. In fact this may be a first. The combination of true feelings, harsh and loving ,by believable characters, tug at your heartstrings. It is one of the very well researched historicals I’ve read in a long time. Intense, suspenseful and well written. Kudos to Kelley for a beautiful story.
