I have to be honest, Tyler Perry version of the character left me a bit skeptical HOWEVER, Aldis Hodge knocks it out the park! I found the episodes engaging and gripping. It’s so refreshing to see a different and more relatable take on the typical cop drama. He’s smart, strong and athletic without being unrealistically perfect at fighting. His grief is believable and he absolutely brings you into his struggle. Even the actor (who I love from NA) that plays the main villain, did such a great job at being creepy that I would have hated him had I not known his work from before. Excellent show! Excellent choice in actor for Alex Cross. Looking forward to Season 2!

I thought the movie was excellent!!! Conveying emotion without words is extremely difficult and so I found that their ability to take us through the fear, sadness and joy with just their eyes and expressions was truly remarkable and impressive. The story itself was layered. Even though death was upon her she fought to survive and yet ultimately was willing to sacrifice herself to save this stranger who refilled her soul. I think you have to have a poets heart to appreciate this movie.
