Living in Florida and frequenting the Keys, this movie nails it. It's a different way of life. Though some of his antics are extreme mostly because he starts out rich and therefore borders on sociopathic behavior, it's not too far fetched from what bums are like down here. Living each day to the fullest going from one drink to the next drink, one drug to the next drug and partying with anyone and everyone. If you can get past the fact that he's oblivious to decorum, you can sit back, smoke a J and laugh along with his insanity.
