Apes were very realistic and on screen was impressive but, can't Hollywood write a compelling story anymore? Storyline was bland, slow, and somewhat predictable. Once again the writers disappoint. I've watched Jack Black's version of King Kong several times and it's still entertaining. This Apes movie took a good idea and made die a slow death...wait for it to stream.
