Brilliant show, the different political and religious paradigms put forward, and the overall storyline is so well put together. 10/10. The series delves into themes of faith, skepticism, and geopolitics and explores the impact of a man who emerges from the Middle East claiming to be the Messiah. The show draws parallels between the protagonists actions and teachings and those found in different religious texts and beliefs, which prompts one to question one’s own beliefs and perceptions. It doesn’t promote any single religion, but rather examines the universal aspects of spirituality and human nature rather than emphasising any cultural or religious boundary. I wish they would renew this series for season 2!! Character development, story line, and overall cinematography was absolutely superb. Highly recommend.
