This is a documentary worth seeing for the parts well done, but it’s also has flaws. It is educational and offers insights into the Generational effects of the horrors committed by their Family members. Some scenes appear to be designed to manufacture tensions, and one family member in particular seems to want to involve her elderly mother who survived, to relive experiences. It’s a cluelessness that made me not want to watch any more scenes the daughter was in. Stay until the last, Very Moving scene!

My review is based on seeing the first episode, but I really like the “Ted Lasso” character that was originally created for NBC Sports Premier League Promos. Ted, as played by Jason Sudekis, is a love able jackass, when it comes to coaching soccer in the UK, since his previous experience was as a Division II Football coach in Kansas. He knows little about the game of soccer when he is hired on to coach the AFC Richmond Football club by owner Rebecca, who is deftly played as a Spurned Ex Wife by Hannah Waddingham. She is playing a villain role as a woman who hired this incompetent to tank the team as a way to get back at her Ex, but there is a scene where her hurt and sense of betrayal are deep and genuine. Brendan Hunt plays “Coach,” Ted’s assistant, who ends up doing most of the work, but who is a loyal friend that believes in Ted. It’s really a nice friendship the two share and I look forward to seeing it explored deeper. The team is composed of a group of multi ethnic players and it’s clear Ted has a way to go to earn their respect. What I like most about this good humored show, is that Ted for all his foolish ignorance, is a decent man who tries his best and like the sign in the locker room says that he crookedly tapes above the exit, he just wants the players, the owner and fans to “Believe.” I strongly believe in the promise of this show!

Likable cast in slow paced drama that fails to take advantage of the Los Angeles backdrop. The acting is solid, but unspectacular, and the characters are mildly interesting , yet far from inspired. The heavy AA buzzwords and theme make it hard for me to finish the series. The best thing about this show are the 2 ex wives played by Becki Newton and the always great Neve Campbell. The quality is as good as a network series, which ironically this show was originally made (CBS). Can’t recommend.

The first 15 minutes of this Action film are outstanding. The rest is a cliched, Non sensical mess. Ben Affleck is described as the indispensable Leader of this group of Ex Special Forces teammates that want to rip off a Cartel Leader. His horrible leadership puts them in danger constantly along the way. Oscar Issacs as the Teammate that originally came up with the plan, is the best thing about this film. This is Film is Wal Mart Bargain Bin Quality.

Quentin Tarantino makes a lovingly detailed film that has Every Aspect of living in Los Angeles in the late 60’s down pat, but fails his audience with a weak script in a film that should have been 40 minutes shorter. The main reason to see this film is the Terrific performances of Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt, as a has been TV Western Star and his Stunt Double. They have tremendous chemistry and leaving the theater you want to spend more time with them. The other reason to appreciate this film is the incredible detail that was put into getting Los Angeles in 1969 Exactly right. I grew up in LA during this period and it is extremely impressive. Everything from the ads on bus stops, to the food in a cupboard, even the Artwork of the Van Nuys Drive In, which I went to as a kid, was accurate! The movie is 2 Hours and 45 minutes long and way too long. The entire Manson Family subplot could be removed because it really isn’t what it appears to be. I am assuming that Tarantino has “Final Cut,” because the studio can’t be happy with the length because it cuts into profits. There is a scene with cartoonish violence which is played for laughs but is dehumanizing. I told a friend after seeing this film that Tarantino films seem to be getting worse. I thought this film was “THE Film of the Summer.” I probably wouldn’t see it again in the theatre. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great Show that is Better them the film. The series is much funnier and darker then the film. Chris O' Dowd is excellent as the henchman turned film producer. He has much more empathy then the Travolta character in the film did, while also having a greater level of necessary violence. Ray Romano is the revelation here as the sad sack producer who just wants some acclaim and love. This is the Finest role of his impressive career. All around tremendous cast. Highly Recommend!
