Interesting enough in the beginning of the film, I was hopeful it would be suspenseful and thrilling and captivating after seeing some make a reference to a modern day Silence of The Lambs. The beginning did have a compelling nature and character/story development but some things that seemed important then, made no sense or come around towards the end of the movie. Not only did it lose the suspenseful charm once they started up with the satanism but they didn’t even provide us any background information for the main antagonist Long Legs. I was very looking forward to Nicholas Cage as I know he could’ve done more in this role than scream senselessly in riddles and put on prosthetics. It had ALOT of potential and it’s not the worst movie I’ve ever seen, but it’s getting a little old to just revert to demonic material/satanism to make a movie “scary”…
