This show is the perfect example of "programming". It's advertised as a family drama but the messages it sends are definitely NOT family friendly. The high school aged characters talk about having unmarried sex, the little girl acts more like a boy than a girl, the little boy turns out to be homosexual, the lack of respect for parents, and I'm only on season 1. Apparently there is much more sinful living coming in the next seasons. Def would not recommend. This show was "woke" before woke was a term.
