It's a short and sweet action horror game with decent combat, and incredible visuals. While the game itself is good for a few playthroughs, it's not a very big package. The post launch support so far hasn't been the best, NG+ is a good addition, but something you'd expect at launch. The game isn't particularly scary either. The new "Hardcore" mode is disappointing as it changes literally nothing besides enemies having more health and less resource drops. This mode basically guarantees you need to use melee combat at all times, which is fine when enemies have a normal health pool, but in Hardcore it takes far too long and it makes the game feel much more tedious. Long story short, if you want Dead Space, this aint it.
