Really took the audience to 1970s NYC. Who can know if it's an accurate depiction of the characters? Clearly the producers want the audience to believe DT was affected by drug use which resulted in many character flaws. It's not clear whether the same flaws existed when DT was younger and drug free.
Was worth watching; but I wouldn't want to watch it a second time. Not very uplifting if that's the kind of movie you are looking for.
