SPOILERS AHEAD: Honestly, I am very open minded but also a very hardcore fan of the Halloween franchise. This is not the worst one, but also not the best one. Halloween 1978 will always be the best one of all, HANDS DOWN. Halloween 2018 was brilliant in a balance of paying homage to the classic while also undoing all the horrible story lines that took place in every sequel to the classic. Halloween Kills was great as it shows Michael in the best gory scariest version, we could ever receive from him. Halloween Ends however was okay. Honestly had a lot of missed opportunities, aside from lots of clips shown in the teaser, trailer, tv spots, and behind the scenes clips. This is not the first time this happened. All three movies in this saga showed clips that were removed. This one was a little more different though. Michael is hardly even in this movie. We also see Michael "weak" and basically bullied by a young man who gets bullied. Since the 2018 film he was spoken about as darkness and evil. The more he kills the stronger he descends. All that in this film meant nothing. Michael only gives us 3 kills in this film and while that is not the biggest issue I have with this movie. Lindsay had very small camera time and being she if from the original and the only survivor to come across Michales path in Halloween Kills aside of the lady he put a long light bulb through her neck. Lindsay should have had more time in the movie. The movie is focused way too much on a character we are just being introduced to just to be killed after all. Clips shown before the release have been Laurie "Scream Queen" screaming, Allyson closing a door and Michael appearing behind her. The whole "come and get me mother f@#$%!" never happened as well. No biggie right, but how is Michael so weak 4 years later to struggle having his first kill with assistance an hour into the film? That kind of took away the fear of "The Shape" seeing him weak. Also, the moving seemed very long and a bit boring at times. Expected more but still support it and glad to see Michael and Laurie together again. It's just very clear the pandemic ruined the movie. The move was rewritten several times. The scene I read in one of the old scripts I wish could have remained in the final cut. Such as Laurie at the cemetery grieving Karen and her son in law then snapping out of it when she feels a presence watching her (Michael). Again, movie is okay but could have been a lot better with the story line.
