This is a true classic filmed at Agnew Staye Hospital in Santa Clara County. Watching these men suffer with mental illness and mistreated broke my heart. Because of actions Jack Nicholson played he gave these men some dignity back. He saw each of these men as real humans being held mentally hostage with poor treatment and medication unaware what it was or even needed. You know this happens in real life . I’m sure that is one of the reasons this facility was shut down
