I was not expecting that I’d be entertained by the origin and adaptational story of one of Disney’s iconic villains. Given that I’ve trust issues with previous live-action Disney adaptations, this quirky crime comedy nailed it. I admit that I am an Emma Stone fan, but I saw more of the mischievous character more than the actress. She truly has that “glint” in her eyes that made the film unpredictable and thrilling like Cruella herself.
