All over the place and completely pointless.

I really don't know why they would take a great story and change it so much that is now an unwatchable piece of rubbish. I was so let down right from the very first scene. Artemis surfing, please! Artemis hates physical activity with the passion. Then killing off his mother and removing all his motivation to exploit the fairies. Artemis is an anti-hero, not your regular teen hero you slowly learn to like him. So very, very disappointed!
