Glorious entertaining baloney. The plot is essentially Star Wars death star attack / 633 squadron neatly bookended by the title sequence of 6 million dollar man and Firefox. It’s everything you want from a summer blockbuster.

A clunky and predictable script obsessed with keeping within the strict confines of the Star Wars canon. As a consequence Obi Wan the character can’t develop or grow. We know about his youth from episodes 1-3 and how it ends in episode 4. The writers are therefore in a straight jacket and it’s the tv equivalent of Rogue One. If you like that certainty then great but I prefer the unpredictably of Mandalorian or Bobba Fett .
