I love this show! I couldn't stop watching. The quality of the competitors are off the hook. The auditions were super exciting. I was impressed by how good everyone was. I have to say I was dancing around the house! The critiques were really thoughtful and even the people who didn't make it through were very good sports,no one really bitched and were extremely humbeld by the judges input. They felt honored by the critiques which were important. They were never mean, but truly excited by each contestant and giving good feedback. I had to stop myself from watching the whole show in one sitting. It was so good I wanted to have more to watch the next day.I don't know if any of the producers,judges,or contestants willl read this review, but if you do,I want to congragratulate you on an amazing show. Oh god, i admit it. I cried. The back stories were so shocking. One of the contestants was abandoned ,along with his brother when both parents were busted and taken away. The love and support of his new family was incredible. Most of the contestants were survivor's. The feelings of pride and dedication to helping their families was more than inspiring. I especially related to the girl whose dad had a stroke. My father suffered from brain damage and became disabled. I could really relate.The love between father and daughter was really refreshing. It was so obvious that she was a stand out rapper.She was charismatic and damn good. Lastly,the guy with the wild hair who opened a barber shop and graduated from highschool and college was hilarious . when he came out with gold tassles around his neck. Latto flat out said "loose the tassles bro,just be you. Just be you was the advice given to all the performers. The best rappers followed this example by being themselves, and commanded the stage to the delight of the judges who jumped on there feet and started screaming, nuf laid you going on to the next round! I waited for this season and it was worth the wait. I found myself unable to stop myself from telling freinds about the show. They had no idea what I was talking about.This show is a real coversation starter,and everyone who watches it will bennift. Here me everyone,Don't ever stop making this netflix series. Infact please make more shows! I love everyone in this production!!!@

I stumbled upon this series accidentally and loved it. I found the plot exciting and loved all the twist and turns that kept me watching non stop. The period costumes were killer. I especially loved that the show was very adult and risqué and scarry ,but watchable compared to House of Dragons. The character's were very creepy,and eccentric like the headmistress of the court. This is a really bingeworthy show. Another plus was the fairy tale quality and lush scenery. Pretend your a voyeur and peeking into a lifestyle you've never imagined. The scenes of debauchery at wild absinthe fuled orgies,and the rigid rules of daily life like bathing in goats milk and meticulous hair braiding. Most of all you will love the main character Elizabeth.
