Why would anyone think this should be like better call Saul? After playing that guy for 15 years I’m sure Odenkirks thrilled to be sitting down a lot at the very least and there’s no Ignacio after him. Lucky Hank is well written , can laugh at itself as does the title character, once he gets out of his own way. He’s an ok guy with typical high class problems i.e. tenure, publishing , living up to his writer father and his unhappiness with his own mediocrity. Unfortunately, even with Bob’s talent and the excellent writing, is what I think the show has already begun to exhibit.
