I love Bethesda games. I have been playing them for more than 9 years from my ps3 and xbox360 to my new gaming pc. I have over 600 hours played on Bethesda games on pc and I know I have way more on PS4 and I am only in my mid-teen years. I love every fallout game and every elder scrolls game, each of them are masterpieces and I love the plot and gameplay. I love RPGs very much and those are the only singleplayer game that I can get myself to play because they are so much fun, especially Bethesda ones. I have only played starfield for a few hours and I would have to say that I do not show a lot of interest in the game. It is not fun to me in any way for some reason. Maybe I haven't played it enough but I am not hooked by the game the way I was with Fallout 4, or Oblivion or Skyrim. I like a game that is equally balanced with a good story and combat, and Starfield in my eyes is just talking to people unrelated with the story and limited exploration. Sometimes there is combat but the combat in this game is very boring. I could be wrong and I haven't played enough or gotten to the good part but like I said, sadly I can't push myself to play it. I wasn't excited for this game to come out the way many people were, I just felt normal about it because I am more excited about the development of The Elder Scrolls 6 or Fallout 5. Obviously there has to be a new story or game made sometimes so its not just the same thing over and over again, but I feel like people would be much happier if they just made The Elder Scrolls 6 instead. If you want a space RPG, play The Outer Worlds. If you want to explore planets, play No Mans Sky. I feel like Starfield is just a bad mix of the two. There was a lot they could do with Starfield and I am honestly disappointed, I don't blame Bethesda because it was a game that was 25 years in the making and I respect the dedication, but this was nowhere near as good as the games they made in the past.
