iBORA HEIGHTS

I binged watch this series. It drew me in completely. Superbly written piece that digresses from the usual themes of CIA and Mossad bravado against terrorists. This show takes a completely different angle, brings in a spiritual dimension of our most pressing existential problems, war and peace. The narrative unfolds beautifully, drawing the viewer in, causing one to suspend his or her reality us to become part of the unfolding events. The human side of hardcore field agents is brought to the fore as we see them struggle with personal and professional challenges. Al-Masih is a man of few words, but his screen presence is spellbinding. The ending is to me is the most powerful part of this series; it was emotional, all the answers we have been seeking through out the show are finally answered, or are they? At the end, I asked myself, is humanity beginning to come to terms with reality of the coming of the Messiah?
