I’m 11 years old and my dad recommended this book to me. At first I was critical about it, but once I read the first page, I literally could NOT STOP reading! I finished the whole series in a week. The Hunger Games is unlike anything I’ve ever read. The descriptive writing pulls you into the story and makes you feel like you’re really there! Yes, it’s definitely a book for mature readers, between the violence and mature talk, but those things add so much emotion to the book and make you truly feel for the characters. This book make you want to stand up for yourself and make a change in the world. I recommend the Hunger Games to young mature readers. You will not regret reading it!
