Judy Protosevich

I am rewatching Seasons 1 and 2 of Dark Winds because I enjoyed them so very much. Having read all the Leaphorn, Chee, and Mauelito books, I was a bit disappointed in the condensing of storylines, but understand the constraints of television. I find the acting authentic and well done, the scenery gorgeous, and the plots retaining enough of both Tony and Anne Hillermans' novels to make me interested and happy. I hope enough people will watch and/or read the Hillermans' works in order to discover what indigenous peoples have suffered and overcome. Their different cultures are to be praised and appreciated. I am looking forward to Season 3.
