The acting and cinematography were good… the story, however, left me shaking my head. SPOILER ALERT! As a senior minister I would have imagined James, if not Tom, had the resources to have “Kate” checked out thoroughly and would have easily discovered her past and therefore would have prevented her from being on the prosecution team of either trials. Secondly - the cause of death of the student was supposedly down to heroin that the now prime minister supplied and that James then hid evidence of. Given that this was a 20 year old crime, would the CPS really go to trail over hearsay evidence that old against a sitting prime minister. I think not. Loved the first few episodes and was excited to see where it was going. It was a shame that the ridiculous ending ruined it!!
