Just binge watched all 9 episodes. Being a WWII living historian and being a big fan of Band of Brothers, I found Masters of the Air to be rather disappointing. I would have expected a whole lot more from Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg. Too much focus on Buck and Bucky after they were shot down, too much focus on Crosby. The real hero of the 100th was Rosie and his 52 total missions. That’s where episodes 4-9 should have been focused, Rosie and his crew and their missions. What totally ruined it for me was late war B17’s with no chin turrets. How do you miss that??
