This is not a horror film in your typical fashion. This movie is designed to disturb you from a moral standpoint. The beginning of the movie is meant to show you the reality of being a 13/14 year old girl in the midst of tragedy and confusion. Towards the end, you are met with a realistic depiction of what happens in true crime situations regarding kidnapped children and the dangers of the internet concerning young kids. Although uncomfortable to watch, it's important to understand that these things are a reality and should not be taken lightly. It creates a sense of danger and urgency about the internet and the people you interact with on it. It is meant to make you uncomfortable and you very well should be. I do however agree that this movie should have an NC-17 rating due to the graphic imagery used and would strongly advise that this is not intended for a younger audience.
