I am a die hard Terminator fan since T1. Although Terminator Dark Fate was a huge improvement over Genisys and Salvatiion (which those two were so boring I almost fell asleep), Dark Fate surprisingly failed to live up to the hype compared to T1 and T2. With James Cameron and Linda Hamilton coming back, I anticipated this to be a blockbuster hit. Unfortunately I was disappointed overall. There were, however some intense scenes, such as Sarah Connor's entrance, the scene when the T800s came out of the water, and when the Terminator split into two while driving. The soundtrack, again, was a huge improvement compared to Genisys and Salvation, but disappointing compared to T1 and T2. Sarah Connor was pure badass. She has defintely matured since T1 and T2. Schwarzenegger could of been given more screen time, and a better entrance. Grace was just plain redundant in the movie. I saw no reason why her character belonged in the movie. No John Connor, no police shootout, lacked the suspense and action compared to T1 and T2. I don't know what can be done to revive this franchise anymore. If Cameron, Schwarzenegger, and Hamilton can't revive it, i'd recommend to just let it die.
