This is one of those movies where the main character is so frustrating but in the best way. I think the film does a fantastic job at making an insane apocalypse scenario seem real. The story was so engrossing and my eyes were glued to the screen, despite all of the wonton violence. My only complaint was the level of violence and gore and most of it was against children and animals. It was extremely difficult to watch and I wanted to turn it off a few times because of it. Luckily, the effects aren't super realistic so I could stomach it and the story was just too good to turn off. 5/5
