As season 5 and the series moves to its final episode I marvel at the writing, the acting and the settings of this final season. The writing and emotions are incredible. As Midge hurried home as episode 8 ends (probably to a death in the family) we all await the big break that will arrive in the final episode on the Ford show. Tony Shaloub is amazing and I hope he lives to tell Midge his feelings from the episode 8 dinner scene. What a treasure this series has been. Don’t. Writers deserve emmy’s as do the cast. 5/25 lots of tissues and popcorn for the finale.
