The film was so far away from the book that it was a different film. The book is a literary masterpiece. The fim trash. The story line just didnt fall into place. It must have been gard to follow for viewers who didn't know what the real writer had portrayed. I don't how anyone could understand it. Key points were missed or incorrect and emphasis given to unimportant minor detail. The whole Indian interaction was badly handled. I actually vote this film as -5.
