I was completely captivated by the book! I was so engrossed in it that I had no desire to watch TV or do anything else until I finished it. I finished it in just two days, using every spare moment to read. The story was compelling right from the start, and I couldn't resist its addictive pull. This author has become my favorite, and I've already purchased more of her books. I'm now about to embark on the second book of The Housemaid series, following my enjoyment of One by One, which had initially piqued my interest in The Housemaid. I loved it, and I'm looking forward to reading all of her books.
