One of the worst movie of the year (apart from Thug Life and Kanguva). My review about this movie. -Very weak screenplay. -Predictable storyline (any human with a right frame of mind can predict the climax). -Illogical scenes in the name of action. -Failure to utilize the big stars in terms of giving equal screen space and character. Verdict: Even if you didn't have any expectation for the movie and choose to go for it, still you will find that the movie was way below par. Go for it ONLY if you want to watch Rajini on screen without bothering about storyline and scenes at all. Otherwise,go and treat yourself with delicious food for the price of the ticket. Not a Loki movie at all. Let's wait for Kaithi 2.

First of all, don't lean towards negative reviews. This is a Maniratnam movie and not a Lokesh Kanagaraj movie. This is not a fast paced action movie with crisp cuts. This is an action emotional gangster flick with technical brilliance. A gritty film that delivers a strong impact with its compelling storytelling and stylish execution. The movie strikes a perfect balance between raw action and emotional depth, making it a standout in the gangster genre. The performances are solid across the board, especially from the lead actor who brings intensity and authenticity to his role. The direction is sharp, the cinematography captures the mood brilliantly, and the music complements the narrative without overwhelming it. What truly sets this movie apart is its honest portrayal of loyalty, betrayal, and redemption within the underworld. It's not just another action film as it carries weight, meaning, and memorable moments that linger long after the credits roll. Overall, Thug Life is a must-watch for fans of intense storytelling and strong character-driven dramas. It’s stylish, emotional, and thoroughly entertaining. If you are a fan of masala movies like Pushpa and KGF, you may not like it at all. But if you are a movie buff who enjoys the movie every frame of it and the making elements of it, then this movie is for you.

As a Vijay fan, this movie is completely rubbish and as they say"too many cooks spoils the broth", too many unwanted cameos without any focus on storytelling and screenplay. Super laggy 2nd half with ridiculous action scenes that doesn't make any sense at all. Even Vijay hasn't done anything different in this movie. It seems like he continued his getup and acting style from Leo. The deaging outcome and AI usage in this movie is so amateur and sloppy. Even college student can do a better job. Eventhough this is a Masala movie, but there's no sense of any interesting scene in the movie. Some of the actor's performance and acting skills are below par and this movie is definitely an utter disappointment being Vijay's last movie. If you think Indian 2 is a disappointment, this is another one to add on to the list. Don't waste your money.
