Too many plot twists and turns - with two top actors - the first and main storyline sufficed.

Marocco was the reason this film happened. Great if you were on the film crew. Slow paced. Sadly cliche’ but also true of how westerners interact with ‘exotic’ cultures and locations. Laura Dern did the best she could with the script she had. Liam looked pensive and hurt for alot of it even though he was trying so hard to be a modern man. Ok movie to if u are quite tired and want some uncomplicated eye candy all round. Would be nice if more work was put into the scripts. Rom coms don’t hv to be so predictable.

The premise of this scifi thriller is interesting and in tune with the times we are living in. I think the one major detail that would have rendered it truly modern would have been if the director and writer could hv avoided explaining the whys, the whos as is so often the case in USA movies where everything has to be explained away neatly. If they had left out the ‘explanation’ then the movie would have had a far stronger and lingering effect and in some ways been more believable.
