What the Dickens'?! Unfortunately I have to join those who struggled to enjoy this film. Despite trying to imagine a Dickens' world reinterpreted by a 21st century film writer, it had me totally confused. The acceptance of a bizarre birth, child factory workers from every corner of the globe, and a fully integrated mixed race society was a step too far for me. Stars have been given for the effort put into the making of such a long film and the character acting.
