I didn’t make more than 22 minutes into the first episode, which is free on Prime, before looking for something else to watch! I expected something more closely related to the book, since it was touted that Anne had a part in its creation. I can’t imagine what that part was, unless it was just the use of her name. If you were hoping to find the book had been adhered too go back and watch the movie it does a better job. This is like watch the Wheel of Time series…..if you’ve read that series you’ll understand. Maybe the acting is great, but I’ll never know…what a shame. Boo to Amazon for not taking better care of their book adaptations. I’m sure HBO would have done better.
