Weak, cringe-worthy movie with a handful of light chuckles. I didn't find it offensive (I've laughed at far worse), but most of the attempts at humor were not even remotely funny. The female lead was extremely irritating and it's hard to comprehend why the David Spade character would fall for her. Spade is very wooden, he should have stuck to Joe Dirt (much better). I have to believe that many of the 5-star reviews here (best movie in years?? can't breathe because laughing so much??) have to be fake. This ain't "Something about Mary", "The Heartbreak Kid" or even "Deuce Bigalow", it's just BAD. If I was with someone who was laughing loudly at this movie I would seriously worry about that person's mental capacity. Maybe the 5-star reviewers were all high?
