Spoiler alerts ahead ! This movie may have been doomed from the start, with the release of “the last of us” the plot started looking far too familiar, clumsy and vague. Even going as far as giving Adam Driver, an interracial family seemed uncomfortable and forced. Creating a language barrier between the characters is still a mystifying choice and the two actors never had any meaningful connections between each other as they lumber along with horrible CGI and predictable plot lines, including a planet, ending asteroid to speed up the clock at the end of the movie.. barely watchable. Very disappointing it truly seems like they were just cashing in on the success of other movies and ideas.
