Let's get one thing straight. I see a lot of unnecessary hate on this show. You have to understand that it's not On my Block. It's it's own show set in the same universe. The people that are giving it the most criticism are the ones who thought Freeridge was going to be some sort of sequel. It's a spin off. With that being said, there are some problems I have with the show. They seem to focus a bit too much on unimportant details that make it feel like "filler content". That makes it seem a little messy. However that filler content could help play a role in the potential future seasons. Only time will tell. I give it a solid 4 stars because it was enjoyable but not ground breaking. Hopefully the show gets renewed for another season so they have a chance at growing the characters and building a more solid storyline. In conclusion the only problems I have are with the writing/pace, so stop hating on the cast! They did a exceptional job on their parts.
