I wasn’t sure about watching as I’d read the book and thought it would be a bit of a comedy. How wrong. Such a wonderful programme. Bitter, sweet and everything in between! Great performances and thought provoking script. We got through the 7 episodes over two evenings and thought it was terrific. Highly recommend it.
