I found the acting to be stiff and the script even stiffer. I didn't see Reagan in Quaid at all and he made Reagan seem like a buffoon. The movie doesn't do well at deep diving into Reagan's life and quickly skims over every piece of it. I would assume the peak was supposed to be when he tells Gorbachev to take down the wall, but by then I was just counting the moments until the movie was over which is never a good sign. Worse movie I have seen in awhile. (And I liked Reagan as a President.) He would not be supporting Trump, to be sure. It is funny, and a bit sad, how much the parties have changed over time.
