I think this book is good for those researchers in sociology and related areas of academic prowess to have a niche that would help them dig deep into society with a bid to making people make the right choices in Life. Bourdieu eventually found his ordained bearing which he thought he missed out at an early age in life. This is what this book is about. I was introduced to this book by Annie Ernaux (2002 Nobel prize winner in Literature) who through her article (Le Chagrin or GRIEF), related all the things the literary world would miss as a result of her friend, Bourdieu’s death in 2002).
