Where do I begin?? Joel is a 25 year apocalyptic veteran. He left a family pleading for help on the side of the road. He wanted to kill Henry and Sam until Ellie intervened. He saw through an ambush and ran a man over. How did Joel who has done all this (and killed thousands of people) drop his guard so bad? He volunteered to save Abby's life. He offered for her to come back to Jackson to resupply. Then he followed her to her turf to meet up with her people. Joel wouldn't do that. And Ellie, SO motivated by revenge kills everyone and everything in her way to get to Abby, finally does, and then lets her go? A game about violence and hate ended on a note of mercy?? What?? This story writing is so pisspoor and it's obvious the person who had the creative lead on this game is not the same person that had the lead on the first game. Truly appalling.
